This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mobile technology Technical Pre-sales professional to join an early stage and very innovative software technology start up with enterprise and cloud based solutions that respond to the heart of Mobile Operators needs; to increase data capacity and increase revenues whilst giving the smart phone subscriber a true Mobile Broadband experience.
Funding and recent contract awards and successful deployments within Opco’s of a major 3G Mobile Operator group (within their first year) has facilitated the need to grow the Sales and Technical Pre-sales team. Our client is experiencing a lot of interest at CTO level, their technology has strong value propositions, great marketability and isn’t disruptive to existing legacy systems and networks.
As the first dedicated Presales professional in the team you will be responsible for working with the Sales team interfacing into Mobile Operators and MVNO’s across Western Europe, acting as the main technical SME, demonstrating the value proposition, managing RFI/RFQ responses and feeding market trends and customer needs back into Product Management. This is fast paced and growing environment so the successful candidate will have to assume many hats.
To succeed in this role you will ideally have;
• 3 or more year’s successful experience as a Technical Pre-sales Engineer within the wireless mobility technology space.
• Proven ability to capture customer requirements and effectively communicate them to sales and business development teams
• Excellent presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences
This is a commercially orientated Pre-Sales role, technical experience could therefore have been gained from a broad range of Mobile related areas; packet core, VAS, mediation, content, VOIP, IMS, Radio etc. The ability to grasp different and new technologies and their value proposition is more important.
