Senior Datacomm Engineer/ Datacomm Engineer - Regional (IP Network)
Location: Kuala lumpur - Asia Pacific
Rate: N/A (Permanent)
Responsibilities:
1) Plan and design technical architecture and physical for data network infrastructure.
2) Commissioning, integration and troubleshooting of ZTE routers, switches and other networking equipments.
3) On-site support in case of major or critical problems that can't be solved by customers according to SLA.
4) Support coordination with internal R&D engineers and 3rd party technical support teams.
5) IP Core/RAN network fault analysis and performance management including handling of un-expected system performance/functionality issues.
6) IP Core/RAN network monitoring and performance improvement (senior).
7) Lead a team of engineers and subcontractors to ensure meeting project technical requirements (senior).
Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications/Electronics/ Electrical Engineering or other related field of study.
2) Minimum 2 years’ of experience IP networking, switches/router, familiar with CISCO router/switch/firewall will be an added advantage.
3) Required hands-on experience in IP/TCP networking.
4) Strong working knowledge in network design, planning and implementation.
5) Familiar with main stream products and facilities in the market and have in depth exposures in network maintenance and support.
6) Those with HCIE or CCIE certificate will have an added advantage.
7) Must be able to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
