Presales Specification
We are seeking experienced, smart people who can present my client's product to potential customers.
The successful candidates will work with an international sales team to understand how my client's solutions can be used to remove customer pain points.
This is a hands-on role for a leader-doer, perhaps suited to a candidate who is interested in a broadening their experience into:
• Communicating and demonstrating both my client's semantic approach and solution
• Working with the sales team and prospective customer to develop the initial opportunity
• Uncovering both the business requirements and subsequent business case
• Taking responsibility for communicating these to my client's agile delivery team and agreeing subsequent High level approach with the customer.

• Quick learner, fast thinker
• Excellent communicator with outstanding social skills
• Ability to work directly with the client to help capture, verify, and communicate business objectives
• Experience of the large and complex data intensive environments and heterogeneous systems infrastructure with the telecoms BSS/OSS space
• Must be comfortable with:
o modern data storage and retrieval systems,
o query and scripting languages
o web-based component presentation layers
o both *nix and MS Windows environments
• Able to critically appraise and improve delivery process, in particular comfortable with the idea of “lean” delivery in software environments based on iterative, high-communications approaches
• Any experience of RDF, RDF(S), SPARQL and associated technologies a bonus
The role will involve Unkind international travel, sometimes frequently, and/or for extended periods on customer sites.
