Carrier Relations Manager

This career opportunity is with a well recognized Telecommunications company and they are looking for a Manager to manage Carriers and Partnership relations.
This role reports to the Director of Global Business Solutions in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate agreements with domestic/overseas telecom carriers and partners
- Assess capabilities of telecom carriers & partners and make appropriate recommendations for supplier
- Procure/Source/Acquire wholesale network capacity with telecom carriers & partners
- Negotiate with suppliers (telecom carriers and partners) to procure network capacity (international and Singapore domestic) at competitive rates
- Analyze pricing tariff tables, benchmark with prevailing market conditions and conduct periodic review with carriers/partners
- Review of master services agreements on both domestic and international areas
- Experience on Regulatory and Service and Facilities Based Operators related activities
- Involved in capacity swap and related exercise
- Work with global team for carrier relations and global network design
Key requirements:
- Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering
- More than four years relevant experience in the telecom’s carrier/partner management or network engineering domain
- Good understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and ability to demonstrate technical knowledge in areas of submarine cable system and SDH/TDM/ADM/DXC
- Working knowledge of Private VPN and Public Internet with good understanding of NNI arrangements on both commercials and technicalities
- Demonstrate good knowledge of telecommunications market in Singapore
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to create win-win relationship with the wholesale customers and partner carriers
- Good project management skills in network engineering to bridge internal project management/implementation teams on network delivery with external parties/carriers/partners
